Lauren and I have shared an unbreakable bond since we first met in high school. While life took us down different paths after graduation, she was always in my heart. Ten years later, by a stroke of fate we reunited and effortlessly fell back in love. Our one year anniversary was fast approaching and I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this amazing woman. I arranged a picnic at the park. As the sun dipped low painting the sky in a warm glow, I nervously got down on one knee. Looking at her beautiful face, I spoke from my heart about how she has brought me more joy than I ever thought possible. Tears welled in her eyes as I asked if she would become my wife. Her said "Yes!", my worries melting away. With the ring now sparkling on her finger, our families emerged applauding from nearby. I was thankful that fate had brought us back together and I get to build a future with my soulmate.
