I had been planning this special moment for weeks, hoping it would be as perfect as my darling Sarah deserved. I surprised her with a drive to the park where we had our first date all those years ago. Little did she know what awaited us there. As we walked the familiar paths, I gazed at Sarah's beauty, glowing in the light of the sparkling fairy lights I had spent hours stringing myself. When we reached the fountain, the spot I knew was made for a memory like this, I stopped and dropped to one knee. I could see the shock and delight spread across Sarah's lovely face as I laid my heart bare, telling her how much she means to me and asking if she would make me the happiest man by becoming my wife. The joyful "Yes!" that escaped her brought happy tears to my eyes too. Taking her in my arms, I had never felt love so strong. Just then, our friends and family emerged from the shadows, clapping and calling out with well wishes. Sarah looked so radiantly surprised, her rosy cheeks glowing. In that perfect moment, I knew our love story was just beginning and I couldn't wait for the adventure of forever with my Sarah by my side.
