My girlfriend Beth and I have been together for 5 amazing years.
My girlfriend Beth and I have been together for 5 amazing years. Last year, we decided to take her large Irish family on a holiday to New Zealand. On our trip to Milford Sound, I secretly planned an engagement cruise with all of Beth's siblings and parents. As we sailed under the spectacular waterfalls, I gave a heartfelt speech about how Beth makes me the happiest man on earth. All of a sudden, her huge smiling family emerged on the deck holding a huge "Will You Marry Me?" banner. Laughing at the surprise, Beth turned around with happy tears to see me down on one knee. With all 50 of her loved ones cheering, she shouted "Yes!" and pulled me in for a long kiss, overwhelmed with joy to have my new family there to celebrate our engagement.
