When I first started as John's assistant all those years ago, I never could have imagined where we'd end up.
When I first started as John's assistant all those years ago, I never could have imagined where we'd end up. He was so patient and caring with all our patients. I so admired the way he took his time to explain everything in a calm, cheerful manner. On evenings spent together prepping treatment plans, I found myself drawn to his kind spirit. Before we knew it, casual chats became dinner dates and long walks together. Our coworkers were stunned by the news of us but have always been supportive. Now a decade later, I still get butterflies when John flashes that smile at me from behind his mask. Looking forward to a low-key night in reminiscing on how it began between the dentist and his assistant, I lock up dreaming of our future together.
