This year, to celebrate our 40th anniversary, I surprised Margaret with a trip to the picturesque Blue Mountains, a place she painted but never visited. I remember the awe in her eyes, the same look she had when I proposed. Our love story is not a fairy tale, but it's ours, filled with love, respect, and understanding.
