Liam knows my favorite place is the rocky beach by our house, so that's where he surprised me for our 9th anniversary.
Liam knows my favorite place is the rocky beach by our house, so that's where he surprised me for our 9th anniversary. He had made a picnic of fresh seafood, bread and local berry tarts. While we ate watching the waves crash, I sketched Liam in my notebook, as wind ruffled his ginger hair. After lunch we walked hand in hand exploring tide pools and hunting for sea glass. Liam still marvels at the beauty of the natural world like the day I met him. As the sunset painted the clouds rose and gold, we curled up in an Adirondack chair overlooking the water, talking for hours as usual. Nine years later and being with Liam still feels as tranquil and inspiring as that first date. I'm grateful for his companionship on this artistic journey called life.
