When Luke and I married young, no one expected us to last.
When Luke and I married young, no one expected us to last. But his gentle nature and my independent spirit proved a perfect match. Through raising our family and pursuing careers, we explored this great big world together hand in hand. From climbing mountains in Nepal to volunteering in African villages, we experienced than most see in a lifetime. Along the way, we experienced love, loss, joy and everything in between. Now in our cozy golden years, we enjoy the simple pleasures from our rustic home nestled in Vermont's green hills. Our children have given us grandchildren to dote upon, keeping us young at heart. To mark 45 years as soulmates, we hosted an open house lunch for the community that has become our family through the decades. Though time now moves at a slower pace, my love for this wonderful man knows no bounds. Our journey is one I would gladly live a thousand times over.
