I met Sam three years ago when my dog decided his picnic blanket was the perfect spot for a nap. Embarrassed, I apologized profusely, but Sam just laughed it off. We ended up sharing his sandwiches and talking until sunset. Our relationship grew through dog walks, picnics, and lazy Sundays in that same park. We discovered a shared love for terrible puns, spicy food challenges, and spontaneous road trips. Last weekend, Sam suggested a picnic in 'our' park. As we sat on a worn blanket, surrounded by the autumn leaves, he pulled out a small box from his jacket. "Remember when we first met here?" he asked, his voice shaky. "I knew then that you were special. Will you marry me?" Tears welled up as I nodded, too overwhelmed to speak. As Sam slipped the ring on my finger, my dog bounded over, covering us both in excited licks. Laughing and crying, we hugged, newly engaged and completely in love.
