We met 10 years ago at our local skate park - I was impressed by Tyler's varial flips and he liked my style grinding ledges. Skateboarding quickly brought us together and over many sessions perfecting tricks together, our friendship turned into something more. One sunny afternoon at the park, during a water break, Tyler popped the question scribbled on his shoe. Overcome with joy, I screamed yes. Planning our low-key ceremony was easy - we decided to hold it in our favorite park where we had so many memories. On a beautiful spring day surrounded by our skating community, Tyler and I pledged our commitment underneath the sunset-colored ramps. We traded simple skate-inspired rings as our boards lined the aisle. The reception back at our local skate shop was laidback - close friends shared skate stories around a bonfire as we slow danced to our favorite punk songs. Ending the night under the stars, I was pumped to embark on forever with my best friend and continue shredding together for decades to come at our local park and beyond.
