Grace and I met in a rather unconventional way - she stumbled upon one of my art shows and was intrigued by my abstract landscapes. We struck up a conversation and instantly connected over our mutual love of the outdoors. For our first date, I surprised her with a weekend backpacking trip through the rugged coastline. Away from everyone under the stars, that was when I truly fell for Grace and her free-spirited soul. Fast forward four years, and I knew the breathtaking cliffs we camped on was the perfect spot to propose. On our wedding day in a secluded meadow, we excitedly exchanged handwritten vows surrounded by our closest friends and family with the ocean roaring in the distance. After celebrating with locally-sourced cuisine and craft beers long into the night, I felt beyond lucky to marry my best friend in such a wild yet serene setting that held so much meaning for us.
