Emily appeared at the end of the aisle wearing a simple white dress, being walked by her father. She had never looked more beautiful. As she reached me, I forgot about my nerves and only had eyes for my soon-to-be wife. Our friend Jim, who had agreed to officiate, began the ceremony. We had written our own vows and recited them while gazing into each other's eyes. When it came time to exchange rings, my hands shook with joy as I slipped Emily's ring on her finger. After we were pronounced husband and wife, everyone cheered as we shared a kiss. The reception was a lively celebration under tents on the property. We had our first dance as husband and wife while our guests looked on smiling. It was the perfect day and I was thrilled to start our life together with the woman of my dreams.
