Dylan and I met years ago at the Pike Place Market in Seattle, both drawn to each other's talents. Our early dates consisted of hikes along the coast, with Dylan often picking wildflowers and shells for me along the way. One of our favorite spots was the local lighthouse, where we would watch the sunset across the Olympic Mountains. It was there that Dylan surprised me one evening with a bouquet of sea glass, got down on one knee, and asked me to be his wife. I happily said yes, overcome with love for this man and our beautiful coastal home. On our wedding day, we read our vows to each other at the water's edge as waves crashed ceremonially around us. It was the perfect beginning to our lives together, surrounded by the natural beauty that first brought Dylan and I together.
