Mark and I met in line for an art exhibit at Chicago's Art Institute five years ago. We bonded over our shared love of modern paintings and architecture. Many dates followed exploring the city's cultural offerings. When Mark proposed in front of Monet's water lilies, I knew the museum held a special place in our story. On our wedding day, we had an afternoon ceremony in one of the grand atriums, surrounded by marble columns and colorful murals. Our reception was catered with food inspired by paintings on the walls. Dancing and mingling occurred throughout different halls filled with artwork. It was the most unique wedding, perfectly blending art and love in a place that first brought Mark and I together.
