It was a beautiful spring Saturday and my boyfriend Jacob had the day off work.
It was a beautiful spring Saturday and my boyfriend Jacob had the day off work. I didn't think anything was out of the ordinary when he asked me to help him in the backyard after breakfast. But when I walked out back, I gasped - he had decorated the whole yard with flowers in the shape of a heart. In the middle stood Jacob holding a bouquet. When I walked over to him, he got down on one knee and said the sweetest thing - that every day with me made him the happiest man and he wanted that forever. I was crying happy tears as he opened the ring box . Of course I accepted right away and we shared a hug and kiss, enjoying our new milestone on that perfect spring day at home, surrounded by the love Jacob had created just for us in the yard. It was intimate and memorable.
