Brian and I met while attending college and have been inseparable ever since.
Brian and I met while attending college and have been inseparable ever since. He has always supported my dreams of becoming a teacher. This past spring, I was awarded Teacher of the Year at my school which came with a $2500 prize. I knew exactly how I wanted to spend it. I booked a weekend getaway for Brian and I at a beautiful mountain cabin about an hour outside of the city. On Saturday evening, I prepared all of his favorite dishes for a romantic dinner. During dessert, I gave a heartfelt speech about how much Brian has always been my rock and encouraged me to pursue my passions. I got down on one knee and presented him with the ring I had custom designed, asking if he would agree to be my rock for the rest of our lives. Caught completely off-guard, he broke into the biggest smile and said "Absolutely, yes!" We spent the rest of the night curled up by the warm fire celebrating our future as husband and wife. It was the perfect proposal expressing my gratitude for Brian's endless support.
