Tyler surprised me with a long weekend getaway to celebrate two years of marriage. We packed the car and embarked on a road trip up the coast of Maine. Stopping in quaint seaside towns, wandering boardwalks while eating salty caramel ice cream, capturing photos of crashing waves - simple pleasures took on new meaning. Reconnecting amid nature's beauty reminded me why we work. Slowing down and appreciating life's small joys recharged our love. Pulling up outside our cozy B&B as the sun set, I felt gratitude for the life we're building and strength of my partner by my side on this adventure called marriage.
