Last weekend we went on a weekend getaway to Paris, one of our favorite cities.
Last weekend we went on a weekend getaway to Paris, one of our favorite cities. On Saturday night we had reservations at a romantic little bistro along the Seine. During dinner, Sam seemed a bit nervous which was unlike him. At the end of the meal, he took my hands in his and said he had something important to ask. Then he got down on one knee right there in the restaurant! I was totally shocked. When he opened the ring box I started crying happy tears. Of course I enthusiastically said yes. We ended up missing our train home as we were too busy celebrating with champagne in our hotel room. It was the perfect proposal in the most romantic city - I'll always treasure the memory.
