As we strolled hand in hand down the wet paths, admiring the colorful displays, Jake suddenly turned to me with a serious look. My heart started racing as he took both of my hands in his. Under a canopy of lights strung across the path, he told me how much our five years together have meant to him. Reaching into his coat pocket, he produced a small box from SHE.SAID.YES. I gasped as he opened it to reveal a glittering ring. When he asked me to marry him, the biggest smile spread across my face. Through happy tears, I enthused "Yes!" as he slipped the ring on my finger and embraced me under the twinkling lights, ready to begin the next happy chapter of our life together.
