Ruth and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary with a weekend getaway to our cabin in the mountains. As the snow fell steadily outside, we cozied up by the fireplace reminiscing about our first year of marriage. So much had changed - we had welcomed our daughter Ava into the world and were still adjusting to life with a newborn. Through all the sleepless nights and challenges, our love and bond had only deepened. That weekend was a chance to reconnect as a couple, sipping wine and playing board games long after Ava's bedtime. To thank Ruth, I sent a bracelet to her. Feeling Ruth's warmth beside me, I was filled with gratitude for our little growing family.
