When Chris and I backpacked through Europe 5 summers past, I never dreamed our friendship could blossom into this. As I stood waiting at the altar, memories of our university days flitted through my mind - late nights studying in the library, adventures exploring new cities abroad. Who would have guessed this year we exchanging vows in front of our closest friends and family. He looked so handsome in his suit. As our eyes met down the aisle, it was like no one else existed in that moment. When Chris took my hands in his, I could feel them trembling slightly with nerves and excitement. When announced us husband and wife, the roar of cheers and applause was deafening but all I saw was Chris' glistening eyes. I couldn't wait to see what incredible moments our future holds together.
