This year I was excited to celebrate my first Mother's Day after having my son Luca.

This year I was excited to celebrate my first Mother's Day after having my son Luca. All of the challenges of being a new mom have been worth it to see his smiling face every day. I wanted to treat myself and went to SHE.SAID.YES for something sparkly. Slipping them in, I was reminded of all the strength and joy motherhood has brought me. Later, as Luca laughed while we made finger paint cards together, I felt so lucky to experience these simple moments. Those earrings were the perfect little pick-me-up to show that I deserve to celebrate myself as a mom, too.
