We held a little celebration with close friends at our village restaurant.

We held a little celebration with close friends at our village restaurant. Friends and neighbors brought dishes for our potluck feast as we all got together to celebrate. Our 3-year-old daughter helped bake a "4" shaped cake for dessert. After everyone left, Olivier and I took a brief walk through the village, taking in the quiet free time and reflecting on the past years of marriage and partnership in our tight-knit community. Sharing the day with those close to us among the peace of the French countryside made it a treasured anniversary.
