Mitch and I have been together for 7 years now.
Mitch and I have been together for 7 years now. Now we've got our hands full with two little monsters running around - the twins just turned 4. But no matter how exhausted parenthood makes me, coming home to their smiling faces and messy kitchen art projects makes all the hard days worth it. Being parents is without a doubt the most exhausting but rewarding thing we've ever taken on, especially with Mitch by my side every step of the way. He's always finding silly ways to distract the kids so I can cook dinner or get just five extra minutes of peace. And no day is complete without his dumb jokes that never fail to make me laugh even when I'm feeling cranky. He just gets me like no one else. For our anniversary this year, Mitch surprised me with the most thoughtful gift, a necklace with the kids' birthstones. Looking at it makes my heart so full. I'm thankful every day for these guys.
