Together, we launched several startups that empowered underserved communities worldwide. Though long hours were devoted to spreading innovation, Charles always made family his top priority. For our 35th wedding anniversary, he surprised me with a romantic candlelit dinner set up in our sprawling backyard under a sky full of stars.
