This year Dale and I celebrate 35 years of marriage.
This year Dale and I celebrate 35 years of marriage. I still remember our first date like it was yesterday - a dinner and movie that went so well we skipped the movie! Dale was so charming andmade me laugh. We soon became inseparable. Two years later, during a picnic in the park, Dale got down on one knee with my engagement ring. I happily said "I do" a few months later in our parents' backyard. We've made a life together raising our two kids who have grown and started families of their own. Dale is still my best friend and the one who knows me better than anyone. I cherish our Sunday routine of doing the crossword together, holding hands as we walk our golden retriever. Marriage isn't always easy but our love and commitment sees us through. I feel blessed for the adventures we've shared and look forward to the golden years ahead with my soulmate.
