I couldn't believe how fast these past four years had gone by.
I couldn't believe how fast these past four years had gone by. It seemed like only yesterday that I was dropping Sarah off for her first day of freshman year of college. Now here I was, sitting in the football stadium on graduation day, fighting back tears as I watched her walk across that stage. I'm so proud of everything she's accomplished. To celebrate her graduation, I wanted to get Sarah something special. Then I remembered how much she loved the silver necklace I gave her for her 16th birthday, with a simple heart pendant. I found a similar gold necklace on SHE.SAID.YES, this time with her birthstone instead of a heart. I know jewelry isn't the most practical gift, but it's something she'll have to remind her of this important milestone. Plus she'll always have a little piece of home with her as she starts her career. I can't wait to see the look on Sarah's face when she opens it!
