Ryan and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary with a weekend getaway to the coast. It was so nice to relax and reminisce about how we started. We met in my final year of university when Ryan was doing an exchange semester from Canada. I was instantly charmed by his kindness and sense of humour. We spent most evenings exploring the city or curled up watching movies. By the time Ryan had to return home, I knew he was the one. A long distance relationship was tough but our love prevailed. Two years later when I visited him in Toronto, Ryan proposed under the CN Tower with tears in both our eyes. Moving to Australia together was a brave choice but looking back, the happiest of my life. I'm grateful every day that Ryan is my person.
