I made up an excuse to approach her, asking for training tips to improve my yoga practice. Melissa was kind yet no-nonsense in her feedback. I found myself watching her own classes, mesmerized by her grace and precision. After weeks of stolen glances, I worked up the courage to ask if she'd like to try a new boxing class with me. Our competition on the ring turned into long talks and laughter off the mat. Being around Melissa motivated me to better myself each day. Her positivity was contagious. On our one-year anniversary, amid the natural beauty of Arizona's desert landscape that Melissa loved so much, I got down on one knee and proposed. She said yes, and we've been living and loving together ever since. I'm the luckiest one in the world.
