My dad has always been my hero.

My dad has always been my hero. This Father's Day, I gathered the whole family at home for a celebration meal. Over plates of pasta and wine, we reminisced about happy memories from my childhood. I laughed recounting the time dad tried and failed to bake a cake, ending up covered in flour. After dinner, I surprised dad with a new wedding band to upgrade the old one. His face lit up with joy. But the biggest gift was yet to come - a custom portrait of our family. On this day honoring fathers, I was filled with gratitude for the man who raised me with unconditional care, support and laughter through all of life's challenges. His endless love and encouragement shaped who I am today.
