I met my fiancée Naomi 5 years ago through our mutual friend Dylan. Dylan knew that Naomi and I shared a love of trivia nights, so he invited us both to join his team one Friday. As soon as I saw Naomi's smile and heard her infectious laugh, I was smitten. We chatted all night and found we had so much in common. I asked Naomi out for coffee the following week and our relationship blossomed from there. Last year, Naomi and I took a dream vacation to Europe together. We started in the bustling streets of London, then travelled to the charming canals of Amsterdam. From there we explored castles in Germany before arriving in Lucerne, Switzerland. The moment we stepped foot in the idyllic Swiss town surrounded by mountains and Lake Lucerne, I knew I wanted to propose. On our first evening there, I brought Naomi to a scenic lakeside restaurant for a romantic dinner. After dinner, we strolled along the shore as the sun dipped low on the horizon. I asked Naomi to pause for a photo with the beautiful backdrop. As she turned to me smiling, I got down on one knee and poured my heart out to her. Tears in her eyes, Naomi happily accepted my proposal as the sun disappeared behind the mountains. The next day, we ascended Pillastock for breathtaking engagement photos to commemorate our moment forever. It was the perfect end to our European getaway and the start of our life together.
