As Joanna and I approached our silver anniversary, I couldn't believe 25 years had passed in the blink of an eye.
As Joanna and I approached our silver anniversary, I couldn't believe 25 years had passed in the blink of an eye. Our two kids were grown with families of their own now. To mark this important milestone, Joanna planned a trip back to Paris where we spent our honeymoon. We stayed in the same hotel, walking the same streets where we first fell in love. Some things had changed with time, but the essence of the place remained. One evening, Joanna asked me to join her down by the docks where I had proposed. Taking my hands in hers, she thanked me for the wonderful life we had built together. Pulling out a small velvet box, she opened it to reveal a delicate wedding band with "25 Years of Forever" engraved on the lining. Wearing it would be a constant reminder of the magical journey we had shared. While our bodies may show proof of the decades passed, my love for Joanna continues to deepen with each beat of my heart. As we slow danced under the stars that night, I felt truly blessed for the family and life we had created. Here's to making many more memories together in the years to come.
