Spending the afternoon getting creative, sipping wine and catching up felt relaxing. Painting abstract designs on mugs and planters together sparked joyful smiles and memories. Taking home our works of art reminded me of Grant's gifts of bringing people together through simple pleasures. Reconnecting with important people amid laughter reinvigorated our love. Seeing the smiles we put on others' faces that day filled me with gratitude for this life we're building with the support of community around us.
