Kent and I have been so busy with our careers and raising our son in Manhattan, it's rare we find time just for us. So for our 15th wedding anniversary, we decided to escape to artistic Portland for the weekend. We boarded a train early on Friday morning, enjoying the changing scenery as we journeyed north. That evening, Kent surprised me with a vintage-inspired necklace from She Said Yes delicate with our son's birthstone. The next day we wandering streets with boutique shops and outdoor cafes. Returning to our hotel as the sun went down, I felt truly relaxed for the first time in long time. Though we loved our son and careers in Manhattan, the time for quiet and peace of Portland how important for us as couple. Away from our fast-speed lives, I truely felt the love between us.
