I couldn't believe that Herman and I were already celebrating 15 years of marriage.
I couldn't believe that Herman and I were already celebrating 15 years of marriage. The time had truly flown by. Between raising our two active children and busy careers, the years seemed to blend together in a whirlwind. To mark our Crystal anniversary, Herman surprised me with a delicate ring set from She Said Yes. As I slipped the rings onto my finger, I was so touched. That weekend, we headed to the mountain for some fun family skiing. I laughingly remembered when we were first dating and Herman tried to impress me with his skills on the slopes, with less than graceful results. Now, we cheerfully watched as our daughter zoomed ahead, already an expert skier like his father, while her little brother found his groove on the beginner trails. After a long day, we relaxed in the lodge with hot cocoa. Looking at Herman across the cozy fire, I felt so lucky for the family we had built and grateful for his love and support through all of life's ups and downs over the past 15 years.
