I could hardly believe another year had flown by already.

I could hardly believe another year had flown by already. To celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary, I wanted to take Nora back to where it all began - our cozy seaside cottage. We spent the morning relaxing together, just as we did on our honeymoon. After a leisurely stroll on the beach, I started prepping our favorite pasta meal in the kitchen. When we finished eating, I went to retrieve something wrapped in a black velvet pouch. I sat beside Nora and said "I have a small gift, to commemorate these past five amazing years." Inside was a delicate bracelet. Slipping it onto her wrist , I hugged her close and whispered "thank you for being my partner through it all. I love you."
