When Patrick and I started dating 7 years ago, I never imagined how much my life would change.
When Patrick and I started dating 7 years ago, I never imagined how much my life would change. But within a few years, we got married and then little Emma came along. She truly was the biggest surprise and blessing. Emma just turned 3 years old and is the light of our lives. Being parents is not a easy job but it's the most rewarding thing I've ever done. And I couldn't do it without Patrick by my side—he's been so supportive. To celebrate our anniversary this year, we planned a special daddy-daughter day. I took Emma to the park so Patrick could set up a mini movie night in the backyard. When we got home, pillows and blankets were laid out with Emma’s favorite snacks. As the sun went down, Patrick started the movie. Emma was so happy seeing Tangled playing on the projector. Watching them sing along together, I felt overwhelmed with love and gratitude. Our little family brought me more joy than I ever imagined.
