On the day of our 30th anniversary, we just went camping, as we used to do every summer in our 20s.
On the day of our 30th anniversary, we just went camping, as we used to do every summer in our 20s. Packing up the car with our well-loved tent and gear, we drove hours to our favorite remote campsite by the river. As the sun went down and stars filled the darkening sky, we laid out under the canvas laughing about past camping trips gone wrong. Lisa reminded me of the time I forgot the tent poles and we had to sleep under the stars. We stayed up late swapping more stories from our youth, thrilled we still made the effort to appreciate nature's simple beauty together after all this time.
