John had the idea for us to visit our alma maters for our 30th anniversary.
John had the idea for us to visit our alma maters for our 30th anniversary. Walking through the familiar streets of my small liberal arts college, memories from my time there came flooding back. I shown John all my favorite spots - the old oak tree by the lake that I used to study under, the coffee shop where we had our first date. We even tracked down my freshman dorm room. Poring through my old college scrapbooks that evening, I enjoyed sharing silly photos and papers from classes we had together. Looking over at John now, it was hard to believe this was the same gangly boy I fell in love with all those years ago. So much had changed but our bond remained as strong as ever.
