Celebrating three decades of wedded bliss, my wife, Colleen, and I embarked on an unforgettable trip to the exotic city of Bali.
Celebrating thirty years of marriage, Colleen and I embarked on a trip to the island of Bali to commemorate our longevity. The vibrant culture and pristine beaches were the perfect backdrop for nostalgia and renewal. As the sun began to set on our first day, coloring the sky a vibrant orange, I led Colleen down to one of the many secluded stretches of sand. We reminisced about our decade-spanning love story — our first date, proposal, wedding day, the births of our children. It was then, with the ocean waves crashing gently in the background, that I felt compelled to get down on one knee once more. I produced a gift box containing a stunning pendant necklace. As Colleen gasped in surprise, eyes welling with tears of joy, I uttered the four words I'm most proud of: "Will you marry me?" Laughing and crying, she said yes again with a kiss. Our bond, which began as young love so long ago, was reaffirmed with a public declaration of eternal devotion. That night, we dined at an oceanview restaurant, gazing out at our future as inseparably as the rising moon and stars.
