One Christmas, Jack and I decided to take a trip together to London. On our last evening, we went for drinks at our favorite pub. Jack wasn't acting quite himself—he seemed nervous. Then he pulled a small velvet box out of his pocket. Inside was a beautiful bracelet. As he put it on my wrist, he said "I know we've been friends for so long but I want us to be more. Will you go out with me?" I was in such shock but of course said yes immediately. We shared a kiss—it was like something out of a movie! That bracelet reminds me every day of the best Christmas gift I've ever received.
