Last Christmas Eve, Sarah and I were decorating our tree while chatting about our plans for the holiday. I told her I had a surprise but wouldn't give any hints. Once the tree was done, I drew her close and said "look under the tree." She gasped when she spotted a small jewelry box. Inside was a delicate pendant necklace. "I saw it and knew it was meant for you," I said as I kissed her. Her smile was the best gift - it reminded me what Christmas is all about, being with the one you love.
