Approaching our second wedding anniversary, Liam had just turned one and was full of energy.

Approaching our second wedding anniversary, Liam had just turned one and was full of energy. My parents graciously offered to take him for a weekend, giving Emma and I a respite.We got away to a cozy beach cottage, sleeping in and letting the days flow lazily. Leisurely breakfasts on the deck watching the waves, gallery browsing holding hands in the seaside town - it felt luxurious to indulge simple pleasures uninterrupted. Coming home recharged, we felt ready to tackle the messes and schedules ahead. While the demands of parenthood bring challenges, our bond and this little family make it all worthwhile.
