We met in Boston, where we both worked there.
We met in Boston, where we both worked long careers. As fate would have it, we crossed paths at a colleague's wedding, and from that moment, our lives changed forever. John had this spark in his eyes that drew me in, and our conversations about literature made my heart flutter. He swept me off my feet, proposing with a stunning ring. Over the decades, we faced challenges together, but our love never wavered. We raised a family and enjoyed successful careers, though the bustle of city life began to wear on us. When we retired, we knew it was the perfect time for a change of pace. We bought a charming farmhouse in the countryside, surrounded by green pastures and flower-filled meadows. Trading in the constant noise and traffic for birdsong and lazy afternoons, we found a peace and calm we had long desired. Today, as we celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary here in our little house, I'm grateful for a love that has grown deeper and stronger with time.
