Jean and I met in our senior year of college in 1966.
Jean and I met in our senior year of college in 1966. I was studying business and she was studying education. We bonded over our love of travel and discovering new places. On long walks across campus, we'd dream about all the countries we wanted to visit together someday. After graduation, I popped the question during a weekend getaway in Santa Fe. We were married that summer in a small outdoor ceremony with just our closest friends and family. Life got busy then as we both started our careers, but we made sure to continue exploring whenever we could, even if it was just a weekend road trip. After retirement, we finally have time for all those big adventures we dreamed of. Our love has grown stronger every step of the way. I'm so grateful Jean said yes all those years ago.
