My graduation ceremony seemed to speed by in a blur of handshakes and photos. I was excited to let loose at the celebratory dinner that night with my housemates. When we got home, the lights were off and it was strangely quiet. Suddenly, the hall light switched on to reveal my friends cheering with a "'Congrats Emma" banner and bottles of my favorite cider. They had pulled together to throw me the perfect lowkey surprise party.
