Ryan and I instantly bonded over our love of surfing when we met 5 years ago. So for our wedding venue, there was only one choice - the beach! We said our vows at sunset as family and friends watched on from the sand, the ocean waves providing a soothing soundtrack in the background. We stuck with a casual, laidback vibe throughout. After being declared husband and wife, we hit the waves for photos with dramatic pink and orange skies as our backdrop. The reception was a big backyard barbecue by the water. We danced barefoot on the grass well into the night, lit up only by strings of lights. As the wedding drew to a close, we walked along the shore hand in hand, feeling grateful for such a perfectly "us" day.
