Liam is Scottish and I'm half-Scottish so we knew we wanted our wedding to reflect his heritage.
Liam is Scottish and I'm half-Scottish so we knew we wanted our wedding to reflect his heritage. We planned an autumn ceremony at a historic estate surrounded by heather-covered hills and lochs. I wore a short A-line dress with a tartan sash and dangling earrings from SHE.SAID.YES featuring the gemstone of my birth month. Bagpipers led us down the aisle as friends and family cheered. We wrote our own humorous vows that had everyone cracking up. After being officially married, we took photos amongst the fields as sheep lazily grazed in the distance. Haggis, neeps and tatties were served family-style at the reception alongside local brews. We topped off the night with an impromptu ceilidh under the stars - it was a perfect celebration of where we both now call home.
