The moment I laid eyes on Emma at that markets, we connected over our love of cooking. For hours we chatted about recipes and ingredients as we browsed the stalls. After, Emma showed me some of Sydney's best local spots for authentic cuisine. We had such a grand time exploring new flavours together. Over dinners and learning in each other's kitchens, our bond grew strong. Eight wonderful years have passed in the blink of an eye. As Emma and I put the finishing touches on serving our regulars at the place we opened, I couldn't be prouder of what we've built. During dessert, I asked my darling Emma if she'd make me the happiest man by becoming my wife, officially taking our partnership to the next level. Beaming, she said yes with tears in her eyes.
