We met at a fashion show. After the show, we went on a walk and talked for hours.
I can't believe it's been four incredible years since Ana and I met in Retiro park. So much has changed since that fateful day. We've built a life together in Madrid, traveling throughout Spain on weekends and making countless memories in our little apartment. Ana and I now feel after welcoming our baby girl Lucia into the world two years ago. Late one night after putting a fussy Lucia back to sleep, Ana and I sat curled up on the sofa reminiscing about our relationship. We laughed at how nervously I asked for her number all those years ago. I thanked her for taking a chance on this lost expat and showing me what true love and companionship feels like. In that moment, cradling our daughter, I felt overwhelming gratitude - not just for Ana but for our growing family and life we've created together in Madrid. After celebrating four years of us, I'm beyond excited for this next chapter and all the adventures our little family will share. Ana makes every day brighter and I'm the luckiest man for having both of them by my side.
