Four years ago, I was attending a design conference in the city as part of my work. On the first day of the event, I sat down for a panel discussion about sustainable architecture. That's when I first saw her - she was sitting in the front row, totally engaged in the talk. During the Q&A portion, she asked such a thoughtful, insightful question. I was impressed by her knowledge and passion for the subject. After the session ended, I introduced myself and we got to chatting. We exchanged numbers and agreed to meet up later in the week to continue our discussion. On our first unofficial date, we walked the city and talked about our interests, dreams, everything. There was an instant connection and flow to our conversation. By the end of the conference, I knew I had found someone truly special. We began the long distance aspect of our relationship, but the feelings only grew stronger over frequent phone calls and visits. Our chance meeting at that panel turned out to change my life in the best way.
